Not too long age, I was browsing through some online videos and this particular video grabbed my attention; I click on it. The video began with the narrator asking, “What would you do if money was no object? How would you really enjoy spending your life?” This made me think. This allowed me to reflect. My mind was fixated on the presented notions. To no surprise, my answer was and is: "I want to influence, motivate, and empower young people. I want to teach, coach, and inspire both students and student-athletes. I want to continue with building lifelong relationships and leave a legacy in this life of service and, most importantly, of love."
I was a student-athlete for twelve years and a professional football player for two. I am the first one in my family to graduate from college, to earn a collegiate athletic scholarship, to be a collegiate student-athlete, to play professionally, to be both a high school and college football coach, to be an educator, and to earn a Masters degree. I take great pride in representing my family and making them proud. I will continue to use my passion and influence to be a leader of men; to become better husbands, fathers, sons. citizens, and men.
My football coaching career began in 2007 at Colorado Mesa University (Grand Junction,CO) to presently coaching at Hartnell Community College (Salinas, CA). Both schools are my alma mater. I made a point to give back to all the programs that once gave to me.
My wife Jessica and I reside in Salinas, CA, with our two dogs Chief and Koa and are expecting our first child this January 2017.
